Choosing Presence: Investing in Your Mind, Body, and Soul pt.2
Christina Garcia | JUN 29, 2025
Have you ever promised yourself you’d start taking better care of your body, your stress, and your spirit — but struggled to stay consistent?
You’re not alone. It’s one thing to know we need to make changes, and another to actually create space in our overbooked, over-stimulated lives to make it happen.
If Part 1 reminded us that yoga is about so much more than chasing numbers, then this is your invitation to put that truth into practice. (If you missed pt. 1 - go back and give it a read.)
It starts with a decision.
Not a once-a-year resolution or a fleeting moment of motivation — but a steady, intentional promise to yourself to lean into something better. To say yes to healing, and no to the constant noise of quick fixes and worldly distractions.
Here’s my encouragement to you:
Make an appointment with yourself. Literally. Open your calendar and block off time for 3-6 yoga classes a week. Treat it like any other important meeting you wouldn’t cancel. Because this is a meeting with your health, your peace, your strength, and your Creator.
When you consistently make space for practices like yoga, you’re not just stretching muscles — you’re releasing stress, rebuilding resilience, and reconnecting with the still, small voice inside. Over time, those moments on your mat create real, lasting change:
Your health is the best investment you’ll ever make.
Not just for your body, but for your mind and your soul. You were created for more than hustle, screens, and exhaustion. You were made to move, to breathe, to connect, and to thrive in the fullness of life God has for you.
So today — choose you.
Choose your health.
Choose your peace.
Choose presence.
And I’ll meet you on the mat.
